The Nokia X100 is a new low-cost 5G phone from HMD Global. The lone storage option of the Nokia X100 costs Rs 18,700. In the United States, carriers will begin offering it on November 19. The new phone joins the Nokia X20, Nokia X10, and Nokia XR20 in terms of pricing, although it is significantly less expensive.
HMD has been busy releasing 5G phones, the majority of which are priced reasonably to allow users to take advantage of 5G without paying a fortune. Because the Nokia X100 is a cheap phone, its performance and other features are at best basic.
Display
The Nokia X100 boasts a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ display with a 1080×2400 resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB if needed.
Camera
The Nokia X100 features a 48-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The phone sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera built into a punch-hole pattern on the display.
Sound
The Nokia X100 also includes OZO Audio, which improves audio and video recording. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Processor
The Nokia X100 has a similar design and uses the same CPU as HMD’s newly released Nokia G300. It has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 CPU, which is the company’s entry-level 5G technology but is still capable of mid-range performance. The Nokia X100 runs Android 11, which is a bit of a letdown given that Android 12 is already available for phones.
Battery & Connectivity
The phone features a 4470mAh battery that can be charged at 18W with the included charger. Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5, NFC, USB OTG, USB Type-C, FM radio, 3G, and 4G are all available on the Nokia X100 (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India).
Sensors
Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor are among the phone’s sensors. Face unlock is available on the Nokia X100.
