Reliance Jio Phone Next

For the first time since the inexpensive smartphone’s introduction earlier this month, Jio Phone Next is now available for purchase on the Reliance Digital website. Customers could access it earlier through JioMart after registering to purchase the handset. JioPhone Next is presently available on Reliance Digital for Rs. 6,499. The smartphone is also available on EMI plans with data perks beginning at Rs. 305.93 per month.

Jio Phone Design and Display

The Reliance JioPhone Next’s 5.5-inch IPS LCD display has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display panel has a 319PPI pixel density and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The power button and volume rocker buttons are located on the device’s right side. The Jio logo is engraved on the phone’s rear.

Jio Phone Processor, Storage, Camera

A 1.4GHz quad-core CPU powers the JioPhone Next. The phone, as previously announced, features 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It also takes microSD cards with capacities of up to 128GB. In terms of software, the device comes pre-installed with Android 10. The phone’s optics include a single 5MP camera on the back. On the front of the device is a 2MP selfie camera.

Battery and Connectivity

A 3000mAh battery powers the JioPhone Next. The device’s basic connectivity features include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm audio connector, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The smartphone has JioMart, JioCinema, Jio TV, and other Reliance Jio suite applications. The phone has a voice assistant, automatic read-aloud of screen text, language translation, a smart camera with augmented reality filters, and many more capabilities.
