Android Oreo was made official by Google and many devices started getting Android Oreo update Through OTA. Huawei and its subsidiary company Honor are about to get Huawei & Honor Android Oreo 8.0 Update for most of it’s devices.
Most of the Chinese companies uses their own user interface above the Android interface like Xiaomi uses MIUI. Similarly, Huawei also uses its very own custom UI on top of its smartphone devices. Due to which the Android update will be delayed for a while as they will have to update the mask over the initial Android update and make it compatible along with the latest changes in the Android. The Mate series runs on HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor and 6/4 GB of RAM. It was made public that the Android Oreo is currently being tested on this device. Along with the Android update, it might get a mask of EMUI 5.2 update as well to run the Android Oreo.
