When Share My Location is enabled, you may use Find Me to share your location with friends, family, and contacts. Your family members will appear in Find My if you have already set up Family Sharing and Location Sharing. In Messages, you may also disclose your location.
- Select the People tab in the Find My app.
- Choose from two options: Share My Location or Start Sharing Location.
- Fill in the name or phone number of the person with whom you’d want to share your location.
- Choose Send.
- Choose whether you want to broadcast your location for an hour, till the end of the day, or indefinitely.
- Choose OK.
When you share your location with someone, they might choose to share their location with you as well.
