According to an Indian Tipster Abhishek Yadav and frequent MIUI tipster Kacper Skrzypek, a new POCO brand handset could be expected really soon in the market. According to these tipsters, a handset called POCO M4 Pro 5G has been certified by several agencies like EEC, 3C, TENAA. The device is listed in IMEI database as well.
According to the listing, the phones that were spotted have model numbers 21091116AG where G means Global and 21091116AC where C means China. It is still unconfirmed that this device has only two variants, or it has a different variant for Europe, which is a highly likely scenario.
But a thing to notice here is that POCO brand is not present in mainland China, so a device with a Chinese number is only possible if it is a rebranded model of any other company. Many experts are assuming that it could be a rebranded Redmi Smartphone. Gadgetraid is not sure yet which Redmi model is rebranded as POCO M4 Pro 5G.
The data that is currently available assures that the device is 5G enabled and comes up with a 33W charging as per the certifications. More news might come in the upcoming days, and we will get to know more about this device.
